I was 17 and gave a ten spot to this man sitting on a piece of cardboard. he appared to be disfigured. I have a gift of remembering things, including faces and names, etc.. So imagine my surprise when a saw this man several weeks later walking around,laughing with his buddy. I didn't hold back, but began tearing into this man verbally on the streets. It was a sight. I've since grown up, mostly anyways. Since then I've seen homelessness in several cities here in the US, in Spain, in Ireland and Australia. I don't miss any of the money I continue to give away.God will sort of the thieves when it's time. If you really want to help, volunteer at a shelter, when you grocery shop, buy $10.00 of boxed and canned foods and bring it to a shelter.
