A bowl of God’s will

We all love to be rewarded, don’t we? Whether it’s a long, hot shower after a full day’s work in the yard or something as simple as a bowl of our favorite ice cream after eating the less desirable vegetables on our dinner plate. Does it matter the means in which we receive our reward? Apparently, it does.
To read the story of what a bowl of ice cream taught me, hop on over to katdish’s blog. And if you get there before I do, please save me some Starbuck’s coffee ice cream. It’s my favorite.

AMEN!
Who are we to demand or even question what package the rewards or blessings come in – or the answers to our prayers. He doesn’t make a mistake and KNOWS what is best for us all of the time!
Sitting at His feet pondering many things!
Be blessed,
Jill
Thinking… thinking… yeah , you got me. Way too many times, I’ve complained about the bowl. Here’s to enjoying the ice cream no matter how it’s packaged! Great challenge. Thanks. Write on!
You stepped on my crooked toes with this one, Billy…..OUCH.
Don’t eat it all before I get there! Blessings, andrea
My little mister also has the same fascination with things being delivered in just the right “package” and it drives me looney. It makes no sense to my mind, but somehow it does to his heart. And His heart must break when we also fail to see the gifts because the wrapping is wrinkled or the box is dented.
Blessings.
OH wow. Very powerful!
Thanks for sending me there today . It helps. Get through…another day.
I sure do enjoy your writing.
Heading over right now – but I first had to stop by HERE and say eeeeewwww. COFFEE ice cream? yucky!
I wonder how often I sneer at the bowl God gave me. I love the things you mentioned–the bowls God gave you. I need to be more grateful for the ice cream.
