I’m glad you’re the resident spider-killer, bear-chaser, snake-charmer, and clearer-of-the-drive. All good titles. =]
I’m taking a risk here (let the stoning begin) but I have big issues with the emasculation of men. I’m all for women’s rights and I believe they should have equal opportunity, but I feel like we’ve slid into a bad habit of abusing our men. (I’m a woman, BTW.) From TV commercials that “mock daddy” to husband-bashing, I’m saddened to see it. For me, I do the best I can in my corner of the world to make sure I don’t to the same to my husband or the men in my life. I appreciate their divine roles and their not-so-divine roles. Just as I want to be appreciated for my role as a woman and human being, so too would I like to see men appreciated for who they are. Rant over.

Although I am the tough, 6″1, strong-enough, empowered female who can move her own furniture and carry her own suitcase, thank you very much, I’m still eternally grateful for My Daniel being around to kill the spiders and other creatures that scurry. Very, very grateful.

Oh, and I like how you are there for your wife! That’s just like my husband. I LOVE being a helpmate to my sweet hubby. And he cherishes me like a princess.
