Haven’t seen Phineas and Ferb, but we used to enjoy Fairly Oddparents. Then we had to choose between tv and internet access…the tv is now limited to ABC that we pull in with the digital converter box and antenna.

That ended my reign as remote queen. My husband preferred to surf the ‘net. Now I on my laptop and he on the Mac…sounds like a modern version of “Twas the Night Before Christmas”, doesn’t it?

I’m the remote control controller in our house. I think it’s being the oldest child and having to be in charge. Good post, though. I don’t like Phineas & Ferb, but I love Penguins of Madagascar.

Are you one of those remote-controllers who, while channel surfing, stay on one program JUST long enough before continuing to the next, totally missing, say, the murderer being identified or the joke punch line delivery??? The cut-off sentences thing wigs me out, drives me up the wall! Your post is lovely, of course, and deep and well-thought out, but really I think the man’s obsession with the remote is ALL about pushing buttons. Guys LOVE to push buttons… on dashboards, in cockpits, on computers and microwaves and in-store stereo equipment displays… it’s so cute.

I have not met one parent that didn’t like Phineas and Ferb. I have no idea what it is, but I can’t wait to find out. I’m sure it will change my life, if the midnight feedings and diaper changings don’t.

Pffft!!! You don’t want to know what’s on…You want to know what ELSE is on.

And not that I would ever personally do this (because as you know, I am goodness and light), but I’ve heard that some wives hide the remote control when they get mad at their husbands. For shame…

Oh, and yes. He is the best Guide after all, even when we think we know better. (Didn’t want you to think I missed the point of the post, because I totally didn’t.)
