The dog made me do it.

The dog’s name, to be more precise. Made me sit back and rock and recall all those times I’d said those two words:

We’ll see.

Said numerous times and in no particular order to myself, my wife, my kids, and my God.

Will this happen? Can we go here? Can I do this?

We’ll see.

There’s a whole lot of power in those two words. A whole lot of confusion, too. It’s part “I hope so” and part “I’m scared” and a whole lot in between.

    Another classic post with a moral lesson to the end of it. Makes me want to stop saying “We’ll see” and start making plans to make those requests more of a reality. Life’s too short for all those, “We’ll sees”, pretty soon, I will run out of time and realize how many promises I failed to live up to. Nope, don’t want that life of regrets!
