There is a reason why men generally abstain from grocery shopping. Some don’t, of course. Some may even be responsible for that particular household chore. These men are giants to me, people whom I will always appreciate but never understand.
If you follow me on Twitter, you may have been privy to my trip to the grocery store last week. It was a mix of comedy and tragedy, with more than a little idiocy thrown in. It was so surreal that I couldn’t bear to leave the story planted in the shallow dust of social media. No way. Just because if you’re going to laugh at something, you might as well laugh at yourself.
The story is over at katdish’s site today. If you’re a woman, you’re in for a chuckle. The men in the audience will likely nod in a sympathetic and understanding way. I suppose that in the end, that’s what separates us more than anything else.
